What We've Done


#AtWhatCost was a radical project diving into the ‘untold truth’ surrounding the economic impact of the transatlantic slave trade on english heritage sites such as Warwick Castle. We worked with young Black and Asian artists to explore and share alternative histories through visual arts and spoken word. Through alternative tours, conversations and debate, we supported the artists and a young producer to create an original body of work which was shared on site to attract wider audiences and we captured the impact of the work through a postcard-poetry series which was distributed at Warwick Castle post the final sharing.

The project received national press coverage on Radio 4 and was cited as an example of best practice across the Landscape Institute's national 'Capability Brown Festival'.
