60 Second Soapbox | Tuesday 28th November | Coffee #1, Newhall Street | 6:30 til 7:30pm
Each person in the hot seat will be given a topic and 60 seconds to share their opinion but they can't repeat or differ the subject. Under the pressure, each member of the hot seat will be tested. Live buzzers and facilitators are on hand to stop things getting wild.
The themes will be political: we will be talking Brexit, internal security, immigration, organised crime, general crime, and civil society engagement - featuring 4 Panelists who have been brave enough to put themselves forward on the hotseat. After each topic, you, as an audience will become the 'hotseat' with a set timer to discuss it in groups. One person will come forth and be brave to feed it back to the audience in 60 seconds. Are you brave enough?
Inspired by Radio 4's 'Just A Minute': "A panel game where the contestants are challenged to speak for one minute without hesitation, deviation or repetition"
